About the role
HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic property maintenance team in Lynchburg, VA. This is a full-time contract position requiring at least 1 year of maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform light plumbing and light electrical repairs
- Complete apartment turnovers to prepare units for new residents
- Install appliances as needed
- Perform drywall repair, flooring installation, and carpet installation
- Handle light HVAC maintenance and repairs
- Assist with groundskeeping duties
- Safely operate hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Light plumbing and electrical skills
- Experience with apartment turnovers
- Appliance installation experience
- Drywall, flooring, and carpet installation skills
- Light HVAC knowledge
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience
