1st Shift Welder

Job Summary

Assembler III is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Must be experienced and reliable in using a welder and welding product.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and tools as required to complete assembly process
• Prevents and controls waste of raw material
• Conducts quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
• Maintains production records as required
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Company products and specifications
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Ability and skill to MIG weld and operate fabrication shop machinery
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to a shop environment
• Effective communication, teamwork, production, and stress management skills
• Ability to easily adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with or without using a calculator
• Computer literate
