Responsibilities

• Understand written and verbal instructions and follow them
• Complete work with accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect and audit product processes on incoming product, internal processes, product audits, and finished product audits
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Work in a safe manner and as part of a team
• Communicate verbally clearly and concisely
• Apply good problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, perform moderate to heavy repetitive lifting, and stand on feet at least nine hours per day
• Report to work on a regular basis (essential function)

Qualifications

• One year of production experience or similar experience in carpentry or a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment (preferred)
• Two to three years of work experience
• Knowledge and application of safe work practices
• High School diploma or GED (preferred)
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Math and computer skills
• Thorough understanding of all Cabinetworks Group wood character, machining, assembly, and finishing
• Ability to distinguish among colors and different wood species
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer capabilities including Excel, Word, and LINCs
• Basic knowledge of the QMS to promote awareness and use by coworkers
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Hand dexterity and strength
• Overtime is required, including weekends with little or no advance notice
• May be required to work a flexible schedule
• Reporting to work on a regular basis is an essential function

Pay

Starting at $18.69/hr (up to $21.14/hr)
