1st Shift Order Picker

Cardinal Staffing is hiring for Order Pickers in Sandusky, OH. This is a contract-to-perm position.

About the role

This position is responsible for gathering the appropriate items to fulfill incoming orders by using a hand-held scanner to locate items on the shelves and/or in floor bins. Neatly organize items on a cart to separate multiple orders, and upon complete order fulfillment, place your cart in the packing line.

Responsibilities

• Pick product and process according to policy
• Compare product picked from order to customer order
• Maintain all inventory in neat and orderly fashion
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe work area
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards

Requirements

• Ability to walk continuously, bending, twisting, and/or squatting may be required
• Good organization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to understand and follow instruction as directed
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance is required

Schedule

1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Saturday

Pay

$13.00/hour plus hourly production incentives
