1st Shift Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work directly under our Floor Supervisor, gaining first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot wire cutting lines with efficient, consistent workflow while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
• Stretch wrap bundles as needed and palletize.
• Track block numbers.
• Use tape measure/ruler accurately.
• Adapt to change, including moving between lines as required.
• Drive the production line.

Requirements

• Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
• High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
• Analytical and structured work approach.

Physical Demands

• Periods of intense physical exertion in low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments (150-170 degrees Fahrenheit) for short periods (typically less than 5 minutes).

Pay

$16 USD/hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Flexibility is required, as hours may change based on production needs.
