1st Shift Lineworker

About the role

Works directly on the production line, assessing for quality and facilitating product flow from start of line processing to packaging.

Responsibilities

• Work with product at various stages of production, such as separating and sorting product, grading product, and packing bagged product according to product specification.
• Assist in staging work materials and maintaining organization of work area.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold.
• Noise and humidity.
• Moving vehicles and slippery floors.
• Possible heavy and repeated lifting.
• Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

Requirements

• Must complete required safety training.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist up to 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States (visa sponsorship not available).

Qualifications

• Previous food processing or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Pay

$18.58 hourly

Schedule

6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with availability to work weekends and overtime.
