1st shift- Inventory Control Analyst

About the role
An Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Follow all established standard operating procedures for Cycle Count and maintain BOS (Business Operating System) for cycle count records.
- Manage SAP COGI errors.
- Monitor and control inventory integrity.
- Production Reporting Validation.
- Scrap transaction review for accuracy.
- Maintain product identification and location.
- Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.
- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
- Reconcile non-conforming product with Quality Team.
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift and/or Stand-up.
- Must be computer literate.
- Have strong verbal and written skills.
- Must be able to interact with Team Members, Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Planners to resolve discrepancies.
- Data entry into SAP.
Requirements
- Intermediate math skills.
- Ability to learn computer skills including SAP and Excel.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Understand material flow in the plant including:
- Warehouse bin management methodology.
- Material flow from storage to production areas.
- Indented bill of material structure.
- Production reporting.
- Receiving transactions.
- Scrap reporting.
- Must be able to follow through on assigned tasks to completion.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent for this position.
Preferred Skills
- A more advanced understanding in Excel – How to enter in data, sort and filter rows, copy and paste in given formulas.
- A knowledge of the plant layout: Location of various departments and warehouses.
Pay
The base pay for this role generally ranges between $20 - $25/hr. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
