About the role

This position ensures the accuracy of warehouse and plant inventory balances. Responsibilities include maintaining the cycle count program and process, performing root cause analysis, accuracy reporting, and implementing corrective actions. Successful execution will yield increased inventory accuracy, reduced component shortages, lower indirect labor costs for material handling, and improved manufacturing productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cycle count program and process
  • Perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies
  • Generate accuracy reports

  • Support processes that reduce component shortages and indirect labor costs
  • Enhance productivity of the manufacturing operation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel) and ability to use plant IT programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated root cause analysis skills
  • Understanding of internal processes and controls
  • Familiarity with Kanban and JIT systems
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked manufacturing environment

Pay

Hourly base pay: $30.95. Compensation may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.

Schedule

On-site, 5 days per week.
