About the role
QubicaAMF Worldwide LLC is looking for a safety-conscious welder to weld various production products used in the manufacturing of bowling equipment, such as Pin-spotters, Lane Cleaning Machines, Ball Returns, Furniture bases, and String Machines.
Responsibilities
- Weld various production products.
- Maintain Company Quality Standards.
- Assist in the construction and repair of jigs and fixtures.
- Learn and operate various fabrication equipment.
- Follow and maintain knowledge of safety protocol.
- Consult blueprints to execute jobs and tasks to specification.
Requirements
- Ability to read drawings of 3‑dimensional parts and understand simple mathematical equations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
- Knowledge of welding methods for various types of metal.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints.
- Skill in using and caring for welding tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Team player.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift overhead and handle large parts.
- Works under the close direction of senior personnel.
Schedule
Must be able to work the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, with overtime when required.
Pay
$20 – $25 biweekly.
