1st Shift Floor Assembler
About the role
As a Floor Assembler at QubicaAMF Worldwide LLC, you will perform repetitive bench or assembly line operations to mass-produce mechanical and/or electrical products. This role is vital to our mission of Making Bowling Amazing, and we rely on the integrity, knowledge, and teamwork of our associates to maintain our position as the largest bowling products company in the world.
Responsibilities
- Use hand and power tools to assemble parts according to product specifications.
- Assemble parts, components, or units in a specified relationship to each other.
- Identify units that fail tests and repair as necessary.
- Package assemblies as required.
- Pick and pack orders from LSL Lumber using the order sheet provided each week.
- Run machines, including arbor presses and riveting machines, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
- Achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Rotate workstations according to business and production needs.
- Adhere to work schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision and rotate work areas as needed.
- Attention to detail and quality focus.
- Excellent attendance record.
Work Environment
The work environment involves a warehouse setting with elevated noise, dust, and activity. This is a non-temperature-controlled warehouse where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There is frequent exposure to moving parts.
Physical Demands
Physical ability is essential in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit, walk, stand, talk, or hear.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Climb ladders to extreme heights.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Pay
$18 - $21 an hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
