About the role
The Floor Assembler I performs repetitive bench or assembly-line operations to mass-produce mechanical and/or electrical products.
Responsibilities
- Use hand and power tools to assemble parts according to product specifications.
- Assemble parts, components, or units in a specified relationship to each other.
- Identify units that fail tests and repair as necessary.
- Package assemblies as required.
- Run machines, including arbor presses and riveting machines, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
- Achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Rotate workstations according to business and production needs.
- Adhere to work schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, stand, sit, squat, and reach over your head.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift overhead.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Work under moderate supervision.
- Rotate work areas as needed.
- Attention to detail and quality focus.
- Excellent attendance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Environment

- Regularly works in a warehouse environment with elevated noise, dust, and activity.
- Non-temperature-controlled warehouse where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Frequent exposure to moving parts.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, or hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to climb ladders to extreme heights.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Schedule
- 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
- Overtime when required.
Pay
$17.50 - $22 biweekly.
