1st Shift- Feed Mill Worker Labor FM01- Spadra Feed Mill

Entry-level non-skilled general labor position in a feed mill environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed
• Assist with ingredients unloading activities, including unloading rail cars and trucks
• Clean up feed spills
• Perform ground keeping duties using landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers
• Use and maintain air driver equipment like blow guns for cleaning activities
• Use high-pressure water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move pallets of ingredients
• Wear required PPE, including ear protection
• Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours based on demand scheduling
• Work in elevated areas while following all safety procedures
• Sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including avoiding any avian species
• Maintain good housekeeping in service areas
• Communicate with all levels of operations, customers, and vendors both orally and in writing as required
• Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Stand, sit, walk, climb ladders/stairs, and sustain physical activity throughout the day
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management
