1st Shift Care Staff

About the role

Calyx Living is hiring 1st Shift Care Staff for our new assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex, located in Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64. Positions are available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs
• Monitor self-administration of medication
• Ensure resident hygiene
• Obtain and record residents' vital signs
• Maintain safety of residents
• Complete incident reports
• Assist with meal services
• Observe residents for any changes in conditions

Requirements

• 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity
• Available to work weekends
• Reliable, responsive, and attentive

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred
• Compassion and a desire to work with seniors
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
