About the role
Calyx Living is seeking energetic 1st Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community in Fuquay-Varina, NC. You will assist and direct residents with personal care needs, including monitoring self-administration of medication, ensuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for any changes in condition.
Responsibilities
- Monitor self-administration of medication
- Ensure resident hygiene

- Maintain safety of residents

- Assist with meal services
- Observe residents for any changes in conditions
Requirements
- Caregiver experience strongly preferred
- Compassion and a desire to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
- Reliable, responsive, and attentive
- 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity
- Available to work weekends
