Contract assembly-line role in the Johns Creek factory with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment.
Schedule
1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Pick parts from inventory and assemble products as specified in production orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assemble products in a timely manner following instructions on production orders.
- Deliver products as requested and assist in other factory areas when needed.
- Review bills of materials to ensure parts availability for meeting customer delivery dates.
- Prepare sub-assembly parts according to production orders and bills of materials (BOM).
- Perform visual inspections for damaged components, O-rings, seals, and module bodies before assembly.
- Follow assembly drawings and specifications to complete assembly activities.
- Work while standing for 8 hours; lift, position, and secure machined parts using screwdrivers, power tools, hoists, and/or vises.
- Lift and turn 50 lb manifolds to install plugs, filters, O-rings, and seals.
- Learn and perform small wire electrical connections, crimping, pinching, and twisting cables by hand; conduct Hi-Pot and manufacturing tests to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications.
- Participate in maintaining an organized work area (5S, Kaizen).
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineered drawings.
- Knowledge and understanding of hand tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Demands
- Able to stand for 8 hours.
- Able to lift, position, and secure parts using various tools.
- Able to lift and turn 50 lb manifolds.
- Capable of performing small wire electrical connections and manual tasks such as crimping and twisting cables.
