1st Class Baster/Painter (R/O)

Job Title: 1st Class Baster/Painter Location: Pascagoula, MS Job Overview: The 1st Class Blaster/Painter is responsible for the preparation of metal surfaces for painting and will also paint components, equipment, interiors, and exteriors of vessels. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret paint specifications and manufacturer application instructions.Well versed in spraying conventional, airless, or hand paint systems. Qualifications Three (3) year to five (5) years of marine blasting and painting or continuous Company experience required. Skills And Abilities Can apply zinc, epoxy, enamel, or other types of surface coatings.Familiar with Steel Structural Painting Chemical (SSPC) preparation.Can troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment and read wet or dry gauges.
