1st Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach

About the role

The 2026-2027 Varsity Volleyball program is seeking a 1st Assistant/JV Coach to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and implementing volleyball practices and games
• Coach JV volleyball teams as needed
• Attend all home and away games

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and strategies

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Passion for volleyball and commitment to student development

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in volleyball coaching techniques and strategies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Fixed pay rate of $4,411 per year

Varies based on game schedule and team needs
