The Woodlands Country Club, Palmer Course - The Woodlands, TX is seeking an experienced 1st Assistant Golf Professional to join their team. Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional in managing the golf course operations
• Provide instruction and guidance to club professionals and junior golfers
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of golf course facilities
• Manage the golf shop and merchandise sales
• Engage with members and guests to enhance their golfing experience
• Participate in team events and social activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Golf Management, Sports Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional golf experience
• Experience in golf course management and maintenance
• Knowledge of golf rules and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Passion for golf and customer service

Skills

• Proficiency in golf course management software
• Knowledge of golf course design and layout
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate golf season and team events
