About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, S3 Group. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA, which is not involved in employment matters at this location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
  • Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Monitor performance during the shift and take necessary actions to ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards.
  • Maintain safety, security, and profitability during the shift.
  • Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
  • Meet targets set during the shift and assist in meeting Department goals.
  • Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Manage crew effectively.
  • Manage food safety and production.
  • Train new employees as needed.

Requirements

  • Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to perform general cleaning including sweeping and mopping, and reach up to clean the tops of equipment.
  • Able to stand for an entire shift up to 8 hours.
  • Food Handler Safety Card Required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be Servsafe certified and attend McDonald’s training classes.
  • Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
