Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer (Azure Data Factory) to support a government consulting organization in one of three locations: Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; or Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Ingest, transform, cleanse, stage, and aggregate data from disparate and legacy systems.
• Design and manage data movement between SQL databases, repositories, and cloud environments.
• Develop backend data solutions that support Power BI and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine data connectivity, storage strategies, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Security+ (IAT Level II) certification and an active Secret clearance.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on Data Engineering experience, including enterprise data transformation, staging, aggregation, and pipeline development.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and integrating data across multiple systems and databases.
• Strong experience with SQL databases, data modeling, and preparing data for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Experience supporting Power BI or similar Business Intelligence/reporting tools in an enterprise environment.

Pay

Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000
