135 Aviation Maintenance Technician - 14x14 - Houma, LA

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain close coordination with the Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT).
• Provide continuous, accurate status of assigned rotor-wing aircraft.
• Perform inspection, maintenance, modification, and repair of Bristow rotor-wing aircraft.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance activities for GoA 135 aircraft.
• Communicate directly with pilots and operational crews to ensure accurate status exchange.
• Maintain the field base environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Manage parts, materials, and inventory.
• Complete and maintain all required aircraft records and maintenance documentation.
• Inspect and verify all incoming parts and consumables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ turbine rotorcraft experience.

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making.
• Thorough knowledge of the General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, and other pertinent information.
• Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.

Skills

• Proficient in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair.
