Responsibilities

• Aids in the operation of the assigned pharmacy, focusing on exceptional customer service and prescription processing efficiency.
• Maintains patient care by monitoring therapeutic outcomes and minimizing adverse drug effects.
• Consults patients professionally to ensure they understand their drug therapy plans and outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Communicates openly with store staff and the pharmacy department to enhance morale, awareness of company programs, and support of objectives.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree (B.S. or PharmD).
• Licensed pharmacist in the state where working.
• Knowledge of laws governing OTC drugs, pharmacy products, and third-party plans.
• Knowledge of pharmacy policy and procedure procedures.
• Understanding of financial reports and their use.
