Responsibilities

• Assist customers
• Answer phones and operate the cash register in the Pharmacy
• Operate the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs
• Call doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions
• Receive orders from patients and type pharmacy labels
• Check in merchandise and stock shelves
• Conduct general housekeeping duties when needed
• Aid the pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise from shelves

Requirements

• Board of Pharmacy State License required

Qualifications

• This pharmacy position is a safety-sensitive position. Any person applying for this position must undergo and pass a drug test.
• Permanent residency in California or Nevada is a condition of employment for this position.
