Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting.
- Independently manage patients with heart failure in the Samsky Advanced Heart Failure Center.
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
- Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
- Experience: 3-5 years of acute care cardiology experience with strong Advanced Heart Failure skillsets (transplant, LVAD care experience) preferred.
