1099 Roofing Contractors
About the role
Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced roofing professionals to join their contractor network for residential repair, maintenance, and roofing service work orders through established property management and residential partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Perform roof inspections and troubleshooting
- Identify and diagnose leak issues and other storm-related damage
- Inspect flashing, ventilation, and moisture areas
- Assess potential mold or water intrusion risks
- Perform minor roofing repairs and maintenance tasks such as nail pops, small puncture repairs, sealant application, gutter repairs, and maintenance
- Handle larger roofing projects including tear-offs, underlayment installation, partial or full roof replacements, and soffit, fascia, and ventilation repairs
Requirements
- Active General Liability Insurance required (COI must be provided)
- Workers' Compensation coverage required where applicable
- Valid W9 and Tax ID required
- Roofing license preferred or required depending on state/local regulations
- Own roofing tools, ladder equipment, trailer, and reliable transportation
- Have a smartphone for portal access, communication, and photo uploads
- Be professional in communication and maintain job site cleanliness
- Complete onboarding and portal training before receiving assignments
Qualifications
Qualified contractors should have experience with residential roofing services including:
- Leak detection and diagnostics
- Storm-related damage inspections
- Flashing, ventilation, and moisture assessments
- Identifying potential mold or water intrusion risks
- Minor roofing repairs and maintenance tasks such as shingle, tile, or roofing material repairs, nail pops, small puncture repairs, sealant application, gutter repairs, and maintenance
- Larger roofing projects including tear-offs, underlayment installation, partial or full roof replacements, and soffit, fascia, and ventilation repairs
Skills
- Experience with residential roofing services
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain job site cleanliness
- Proficiency in using a smartphone for portal access, communication, and photo uploads
- Knowledge of local roofing regulations and licenses
