Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active in their lives as possible.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and other personal care tasks.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, community outings, and other activities.
• Administer medications and follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and goals.
• Follow medical guidelines and agency policies.
• Assist with emergency evacuation of individuals from the home.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with DDS regulations/policies.

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
• Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer, or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet program needs, which may include holidays, overnights, or double shifts.

Pay

$17.50–$19.00 per hour. Paid training provided by Venture.

Schedule

Thursday 10 p.m.–9 a.m., Friday & Saturday 10 p.m.–10 a.m.; part‑time schedule totals 35 hours per week.
