10471 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking full responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional customer experiences that maximize sales and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met, including merchandising, POS, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc. Resolve customer issues and anticipate customer demands.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit and hire associates, identify strengths and opportunities, and coach or counsel as needed. Maintain positive relationships with associates and communicate effectively with the Store Manager.
Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, schedule employees, and follow store opening/closing procedures. Protect company assets and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
