Responsibilities
- Makes sure that service providers follow rules and regulations.
- Visits sites to check how well services are being provided.
- Answers questions and helps solve problems for staff and clients.
- Develops ways to measure how well services are working.
- Submits claims for money owed to the department.
- Prepares requests for proposals and negotiates contracts.
- Monitors and evaluates the work of service providers.
- Reviews and analyzes financial and performance data.
- Prepares reports and makes suggestions for improving services.
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least three years of professional work experience.
- Skilled in using standard software applications.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of auditing standards, grants management, and government regulations.
- Experience in contract negotiations, needs assessments, program evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Extensive knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Passes an extensive background investigation.
