100% Remote-SR Business Systems Analyst (Guidewire/EIS)
Seeking a highly analytical Technical Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business and technology teams. This role will focus on gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions, performing system impact analysis, supporting complex integrations, and driving successful delivery across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong technical analysis skills, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to quickly understand complex system interactions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Perform system impact analysis and identify dependencies across applications, platforms, and integrations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, system mappings, and data flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical standards.
- Support cross-platform analysis and integration efforts within Guidewire and EIS environments.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, technical requirements, and delivered functionality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and requirements clarification sessions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and validation of business requirements.
- Analyze and interpret data to support business decisions, project outcomes, and reporting needs.
- Communicate project risks, dependencies, and status updates to stakeholders and project teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical Systems Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements.
- Experience performing system impact analysis across multiple applications, integrations, and business processes.
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and technical documentation.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
- Experience with Guidewire and/or EIS policy administration platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance industry experience.
- Experience supporting Guidewire and EIS coexistence or platform modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and data analysis tools.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise application and integration projects.
