This position is 100% on-site in Raleigh, NC and an in-person interview is required. Our client has an opening for a Network/Telecom Consultant.

About the role

The Network/Telecom Consultant will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, configuring, and troubleshooting network and telecom equipment. The role requires a strong background in Cat5/6 and Fiber optic cable installations/terminations/splices, IP camera installations, and Cisco switch configurations/troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test Cat5/6 network cables
• Install, terminate, and splice Fiber optic cables
• Install and test IP cameras
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in network and telecom installations
• 3 years of experience in fiber optic cable installations/terminations/splicing
• 2 years of experience in IP camera installations
• 2 years of experience in Cisco switch configuration/troubleshooting

Qualifications

Nice to have:

• 2 years of experience in network and telecom installations
• 2 years of experience in fiber optic cable installations/terminations/splicing
• 2 years of experience in IP camera installations
• 2 years of experience in Cisco switch configuration/troubleshooting

Skills

Strong knowledge of Cat5/6 and Fiber optic cable installations/terminations/splicing, IP camera installations, and Cisco switch configurations/troubleshooting are essential.
