Supervision and Responsibilities

• Supervise patients and provide compassionate care before and after treatment.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients.
• Alert nurses when patients need help or interventions.
• Assist patients with basic requests.
• Transport patients to and from inpatient beds and other areas.
• Keep patient information confidential.
• Accurately document patient behaviors.
• Communicate patient safety needs.
• Handle emotionally distressing situations with professionalism.
• Be on call, work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
• Comply with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program.
