About the role

Join Cosmoprof, the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, on a mission to empower customers to express themselves through hair. As a Sales Associate, your primary objective is creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, you’ll serve as the advisor on our customer’s beauty journey. Cosmoprof provides extensive knowledge and training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product training to support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The role involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
