About the role

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers. They will assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, and will recommend additional and complimentary products. They will also inform customers of current promotions and events, set up advertising displays, and ensure customers are enrolled in the Loyalty program.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Able to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
