About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you will create a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, you will be the advisor on our customer’s beauty journey. Sally Beauty provides extensive knowledge and training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Execute product knowledge from training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions

The position requires physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching; and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items like shipment or record boxes. The role involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
