About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including brand, people, operations, and safety.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional customer experiences, maximizing sales and driving customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance and maintain positive relationships.
Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and execute store opening/closing procedures.
Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team of associates
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
