About the role

This is a direct role within the Production (PRD) career stream in Operations (OPS). The Trainer 1 position is responsible for training and developing production staff to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to production employees on processes, equipment, safety, and quality standards.
• Assess training needs and develop materials to address skill gaps.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure alignment with production goals.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a training or production role within manufacturing or operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, OSHA) is advantageous.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
• May require lifting or moving training materials or equipment up to 25 lbs.
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, and production specifications.
