About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage store trends, and ensure brand standards are met.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.

• 30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, schedule associates, and follow company directives.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
