02153 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking full responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional customer experiences that maximize sales and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Identify strengths and opportunities for associates and address them through coaching or counseling. Maintain positive relationships with associates and keep them informed of relevant company information.
Operations: Ensure the execution of all company processes, manage inventory, schedule employees, and follow through on company directives and projects.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
