00720 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking full responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.
Responsibilities
Brand: Supervise and support associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, identify strengths and opportunities, and maintain positive relations with associates and peers. Maintain consistent communication with the Store Manager.
Operations: Ensure processes are executed, manage inventory, schedule hours, and follow store opening/closing procedures. Protect company assets and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
