00720 Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking full responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.

Responsibilities

• Brand: Supervise and support associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, identify strengths and opportunities, and maintain positive relations with associates and peers. Maintain consistent communication with the Store Manager.

• Operations: Ensure processes are executed, manage inventory, schedule hours, and follow store opening/closing procedures. Protect company assets and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
