00227 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking full responsibility when the Store Manager is not present.
Responsibilities
Brand: Supervise and support associates in delivering exceptional customer experiences, maximizing sales and KPIs, and driving customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met, including merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc. Resolve customer issues and anticipate customer demands.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit and manage associates, identifying strengths and opportunities, and addressing them through coaching or counseling. Maintain positive relations with associates and keep them informed of relevant company information.
Operations: Ensure the execution of company processes, including training, management, analysis, and continuous improvement. Manage inventory, payroll, and store opening/closing procedures. Follow company directives and maintain compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
