Zone Team Leader
Position Overview
The Retail Zone Team Leader is responsible for guiding and directing the operation of a specific zone within a store's retail sales floor. This role involves overseeing a team dedicated to merchandising and selling products, as well as ensuring high-quality customer and associate experiences.
Responsibilities
- Execute established procedures for the assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
- Ensure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
- Oversee the process to ensure that merchandise is planned for and received, and that the sales floor is properly stocked.
- Schedule and staff associates effectively to unload and process merchandise, driving productivity and meeting customer service standards.
- Supervise associates within the assigned zone, communicating company directives to ensure tasks are completed.
- Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store as needed and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a mid- to large-size retailer is preferred.
- A positive attitude and ability to interact well with both customers and associates are essential.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and maintain alertness and safety.

Pay and Schedule
This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may vary by location. Actual associate pay will be determined based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. New hires starting pay is $18.25 - $19.25 per hour.
