Zone Team Leader

About the Role

As a Retail Zone Team Leader, you will provide guidance and direction for the successful operation of a specific zone within the retail sales floor. You will oversee a team passionate about merchandising and selling merchandise while ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. This role involves managing all aspects of merchandising and customer service oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute established procedures for your assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
• Ensure store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Oversee the process to ensure merchandise is planned for, received, and the sales floor is properly stocked.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure effective unloading and processing of merchandise to the sales floor, driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.
• Supervise associates within your assigned zone and communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.
• Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with customers and associates as a team player.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Pay

This position offers a base hourly rate of $17.50–$18.50. Pay ranges may vary by location, and actual pay will be based on experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associates will not be compensated below the minimum wage for their specific location.
