Zone Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead site crews and perform scheduled work alongside crews
• Interact with clients to provide professional and prompt customer service
• Assist manager in recruiting, staffing, training, motivating, and supervising site/store leads and crew members
• Coordinate crew member scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing
• Perform quality control inspections and performance audits
• Monitor crew members’ task completion to ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Document crew members’ performance and initiate corrective action or routine termination (with management oversight)
• Perform nightly quality control inspections and provide corrective training
• Review and respond to emails regarding operations and customer relations
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and consumables
• Maintain building safety and security (check door locks, verify key and badge security)
• Ensure janitor closet meets safety and cleanliness standards
• Perform required janitorial/specialty work (carpet cleaning, windows, etc.)
• Document and report issues regarding safety/security, building maintenance, damaged equipment, or other pertinent issues
• Request uniforms, employee badges, needed supplies, and other items
• Load and unload supplies; move heavy furniture and equipment
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

• 3 or more years of janitorial/building maintenance or related experience, with a minimum of 2 years prior supervisory/lead experience preferred
• Basic understanding of staffing processes and performance programs
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers (written and verbal English; bilingual in Spanish and English preferred)
• Training skills (ability to provide clear and effective training on basic processes and safety)
• Ability to manage change and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Must download and use the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on a personal mobile device for clocking in/out, attendance management, training, and employment-related information (cell phone reimbursement provided in accordance with local laws)

Pay

Starting pay: $20.13 per hour

Schedule

Shifts available: 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM
