About the role
In this field-based, specialty sales position, the Zone Business Associate is responsible for the successful promotion of Sanofi-Genzymes Respiratory and Dermatology indications in territories where additional resources/share of voice is required.
Responsibilities
- Educate targeted healthcare providers on the benefits of products FDA-approved indications within assigned territory or territories.
- Travel to assigned territory or territories during the assigned period of coverage for 4-5 days each week.
- Develop and communicate deep scientific understanding of therapeutic areas and competitive products within the Dermatology and Respiratory marketplaces.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term business relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders within the Dermatology and Respiratory communities.
- Develop and implement a territory specific business plan and utilize all available resources to foster a successful sales environment and deliver on business unit objectives.
- Effectively convey complex clinical and reimbursement product information to key stakeholders in a highly competitive marketplace.
- Execute a customer centric need based selling approach with targeted Healthcare Providers.
- Collaborate effectively with Thought Leader Liaisons, Area Business Managers, Business Relations Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Site Coordinators, Managed Markets, Medical Field and home office teams as required.
- Conduct promotional programs.
- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Attend local, regional and national meetings as directed.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree Required, 2+ years of professional experience in a quota-bearing or target-driven role with demonstrated and proven results (sales, account management, business development, clinical, or healthcare-related fields welcome)
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
- Geographic flexibility - able to travel to any geography within the United States on a weekly basis for a period of weeks to months with little advance notice (upwards of 80% travel or more)
- Comfortable with change
- Self-starter who can form relationships with new customers, office staff and teammates quickly
- Valid driver's license
- Must have the willingness to relocate anywhere in US for any potential, future sales positions
Qualifications

Pay
Compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
