About the role
The Z Head Basketball Girls position at Bayside High School is responsible for overseeing girls' basketball teams and programs.Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of girls' basketball teams and programs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance.
- Manage team schedules, practices, and games.
- Work closely with coaches and administrators to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to players and coaches.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in physical education, coaching, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a head coach at the high school level or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience at the high school level.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
