About the role
Powerlink Healthcare Services is seeking a dynamic, versatile, and highly organized Housekeeper to join our Operations team. We provide award-winning and highly successful solutions within Food and Nutrition Services, Housekeeping and Laundry Services, and Facility Maintenance to Long-Term Care and Senior Living Facilities across the United States. This position ensures cleanliness in all aspects of the community, including resident units and common areas, and provides laundry services to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. Services are delivered in accordance with facility policies, state and federal laws, and regulations to enhance residents' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, scrub, and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Dust and polish furniture
- Empty and clean garbage containers
- Dispose of garbage in a sanitary manner
- Clean glass surfaces
- Make beds and change linens
- Clean mirrors, toilets, and showers
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to speak and read fluent English
- Must have or apply for a Level 1 Arizona fingerprint clearance card
