About the role

Join Upway as the face of our YouTube channel and help build the most trusted destination for people researching e-bikes. This is not a typical corporate channel—we’re creating a personality-driven channel that viewers genuinely want to watch. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to produce authentic, long-form video content that builds trust and drives discovery.

Responsibilities

• Host 4-8 long-form YouTube videos per month.
• Develop engaging topics and storylines for videos.
• Serve as the on-camera face of the channel, embodying its personality and voice.
• Collaborate with the videographer/editor to structure episodes, ensure strong pacing, and maintain audience engagement for long watch times.
• Be present on-site in Los Angeles (Redondo Beach) for filming.
• Bring creative ideas for YouTube series and formats.
• Test content strategies and refine what resonates with the audience.
• Help shape the channel’s personality, tone, and authenticity.

Requirements

• Passionate about bikes: Genuine bike enthusiast with curiosity about different brands, models, and e-bike culture.
• Strong on camera: Charismatic, engaging, and comfortable speaking for 30+ minutes. Able to simplify complex topics and tell compelling stories.
• Opinionated and entertaining: Not corporate—able to take strong viewpoints while being funny, engaging, and authentic.
• Flexible and hands-on: Comfortable filming in various environments, willing to ride bikes, test products, interact with customers, and experiment as we grow the channel.
