About the role

LLE Education Group is looking for enthusiastic educators who want to make a positive impact in the lives of students through its Youth Zone program. The program targets school-age children and is expanding rapidly, creating opportunities for new educators.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, and implement lesson plans
• Manage students as they learn, play, eat, and sleep
• Keep the classroom organized and clean
• Observe children's interests and collaborate with team members to develop engaging curricula
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's activities and achievements

Requirements

• Superior classroom management skills, caring for students' emotional and academic needs
• CDA or ECE certificate, associate or bachelor's degree in ECE or related field, or equivalent coursework
• Active and current enrollment in an accredited program may be considered with experience
• Minimum of 1 year of field-related experience
• Flexible to work hours based on school and program needs
• Successful background check and Virginia licensing requirements met

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The pay range listed here is what LLE Group in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Schedule

Nights and weekends off.
