About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems and providing technical support to faculty and students.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the university’s IT systems and networks.
• Provide technical support to faculty and students, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology across campus.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IT to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and network administration tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and incident response procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java.
