Instruction & Skill Development

• Teach young athletes the fundamental skills of volleyball (bumping, passing, setting, and serving)
• Implement age-appropriate drills using convenient practice plans provided by i9 Sports

Mentorship & Collaboration

• Lead practice sessions
• Actively assist/guide our volunteer parent coaches

Game Officiating

• Serve as the official for youth volleyball games
• Ensure fair play, manage rule violations, and maintain an unbiased, positive game environment

Safety & Supervision

• Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games
• Maintain an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere

Communication

• Maintain open, professional communication with parents, players, and staff

Training

• Complete mandatory pre-season training sessions (fully compensated)

Requirements

• Previous experience playing or coaching volleyball
• Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills, with a knack for motivating children and collaborating with parents
• Patience, high energy, and a passion for youth sports development
• Ability to efficiently solve problems on the fly
• Must be available for the Fall Season dates listed in the schedule
• Extremely reliable, responsible, and organized
• Availability to work each weekend of the season
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must have a personal vehicle / reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
